COMPETITION LOCATION

2014 OEMC competitors will play in a prestigious site, in the middle of the "Parc de l'Orangerie" :
le Pavillon Joséphine.

"L'Orangerie" is the greatest park in Strasbourg, and exists since the 18th century.
Its name comes from 140 orange trees, stolen by Republicans during the French Revolution.
However you won't be able to find any of them, only 3 trees are remaining. They are looked after in a green house, out of reach of the public.

"Le Pavillon" (as we call the large buildings) was built in 1804, as a tribute to Joséphine de Beauharnais, French Empress, and Napoléon Bonaparte's wife.
